Community Grant Scheme
Diss Town Council is committed to assisting voluntary and not-for-profit organisations working for the benefit of Diss residents.
One of the ways this is done is through financial grants and we still have £14,000 remaining of our Community Grant Scheme for the 2020-21 financial year.
Our priorities and criteria
We’re particularly interested in applications that support our town’s distinction & heritage, partnership & synergy, and community & people.
For an application to be considered it must meet at least two of the following:
Benefits the residents of Diss as a whole.
Benefits a specific category of residents of Diss, particularly disadvantaged or vulnerable sections of the population.
Provides a service or facility not currently provided elsewhere in Diss.
Adds to or improves existing facilities.
Makes better use of under-used Town Council facilities (such as the DYCC or Sports Ground).
Is freely available to all sections of the community.
You can find full information on the criteria and application process in our Community Grant Scheme guidance notes.
