Live Entertainment
Get into the Christmas spirit with fantastic performances from Leon Mallett (East Anglian Boy), The Salvation Army Band, Serena Grant, Will Power, Bombshell Rheanne, Pat & Kenny, and Robin Dicker.
Between acts, Park Radio will keep the festive energy flowing and will also host the event as our compère for the day.

Delicious Food & Drink
The Wonky Donkey bar is back, serving up your seasonal favourites, alongside an array of tasty street food: hog roast, warming chips, spiced treats, doughnuts, waffles, and indulgent festive hot chocolates.
Don’t forget to browse Diss’ wonderful independent shops for unique gifts—and visit St Mary’s Church, where you’ll find charity stalls and a warm welcome.

Free festive activities at the United Reformed Church

Santa’s Grotto at the URC is open from 2pm – 5:00pm (just £3 per child, including a gift – no need to book!)

Punch and Judy shows with children’s entertainer Poz in the URC (1.30pm and 2.30pm)
Parade & Lights Switch-On
At 5:40pm, Santa will arrive in style on a vintage fire engine, making his way up Mere Street to the Market Place, joined by his elves, Dinsdale, the panto cast, Parky Bear, the Town Mayor and Mayor’s Cadets.
Gather at the stage for the big 6pm Lights-On moment, with Leon Mallett helping us countdown to the switch-on! Then stick around for more live music to bring the event to a close at 6:30pm.
