One of our longest-serving members, David Cobb, left the team this month. 

David has been part of the council’s maintenance team for 10 years (in two five-year stints) and will be missed by all of us at the council. And, no doubt, by many of you who’ve seen him out and about around the town over the past decade. 

David has helped keep our town and council premises, including the Diss Youth & Community Centre and boardwalk, clean and tidy – a particularly important role this past year with the added pressure of COVID-19. He’s also a familiar face to Friday’s market stall holders, helping supervise the set-up and smooth running of this popular weekly event. 

We wish David well.
