The Christmas countdown is on!

The Christmas lights switch-on takes place on Saturday 3rd December with a jam-packed afternoon of entertainment, stalls and activities for the whole family.
Open from midday, we have a great variety of stalls on the Market Place - with everything from hot foods and sweet treats to glow lights and balloons. Park Radio will be playing our favourite festive hits until the main stage entertainment starts at 2.45pm. Hosting the event and performing on the day is Norfolk local and Britain’s Got Talent success, comedian Ben Langley!
We’ll also have tombola stalls and Hope Church will be joining us too with a Christmas photobooth!
The fun doesn’t stop there - Enjoy an afternoon of festivities at The United Reformed Church from 1 – 5pm.
The URC will be hosting Father Christmas in his Grotto! Take part in ‘Follow the Star’ and ‘Find the Stable’ activities with the wise men as they follow the star to Bethlehem - have a free cup of hot chocolate at Beth’s Inn and pick up a free Advent Activity Pack. 'Voice Squad' will be performing from 2-3pm.
Santa will make his way along Mere Street with the panto cast of ‘Sleeping Beauty’, Dinsdale, the Mayor, Parky Bear and The Salvation Army from 4.30pm to arrive at the Market Place shortly after for the Switch-On from 5-5.15pm.
