We’re inviting local residents to suggest street names for the new Shelfanger Road housing development before South Norfolk District Council makes its decision next Wednesday!

We’d love names that reflect our local history, landscape and community spirit - think local landmarks, nature, heritage or people connected to our area.

Before submitting your ideas, please check the council’s Street Naming & Numbering Policy so you know what’s acceptable (e.g., names should not be of living people or too similar to existing streets):

•  Include a quick reason or story behind your choice (optional but helpful!)

• Keep suggestions suitable and community-focused
