Grass Cutting and Ground Maintenance

We’ve received a number of recent enquiries about grass cutting in the town and wanted to share some helpful information.
DTC contracts TOPS Garden Services to maintain most Council-owned grounds across our sites - Diss Cemetery, Sports Ground, DYCC, Diss Park, Rectory Meadow, The Lowes and St Mary's Churchyard.
The Boardwalk & Gardens are cared for by the Diss Community Woodland Trust.
DTC does not cut grass on land it does not own - this responsibility sits with the relevant landowner; either Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk Council, Housing Associations and developers. All have their own separate contractors responsible for maintenance of these areas.
Our grounds maintenance contracts have recently been reviewed to ensure the best service and value, and they will continue to be monitored.
