Have your say! The Government is consulting on plans to change Norfolk’s two-tier council system into unitary councils. 

This statutory consultation seeks views on the proposals that the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) has received following the Secretary of State’s invitation to councils in Norfolk and Suffolk to submit proposals for unitary local government for their areas.

This is the biggest local government change in 50 years and will affect housing, education, transport, and social care for decades.
