Diss Youth & Community Centre Project Update

Work continues on plans for the new Diss Youth & Community Centre at Shelfanger Road. A topographical survey of the site has now been completed, providing detailed information on levels, boundaries, features and surrounding conditions.
Commissioned on the advice of Beech Architects Limited, the survey will help ensure future proposals are appropriate for the site and its surroundings. Diss Town Council members and officers are due to meet with the architects later this month to review the progress made on the project.
The next stage of design development is currently expected to take place during Autumn 2026, with further updates to be shared as key milestones are reached. The Town Council remains committed to delivering a modern and flexible facility that will benefit both young people and the wider community for many years to come.
