Have you confirmed your place in this year’s Hollywood-themed Carnival Parade?
Come and join us in rolling out the red carpet on Sunday 11th June for Diss’ very own Walk Of Fame in a star-studded parade! Get ready for glitz, glamour and gladrags as we bring a touch of movie magic with the Carnival 2023 theme ‘Diss Goes To Hollywood!’
Starring your favourite Hollywood film characters and icons, theatre shows, soundtracks, movie moments and VIP experiences, Diss Carnival will have you feeling like an A-lister for the day!
We’re hoping to be star-struck by a few familiar faces; Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, James Bond, Charlie Chaplin to name a few… Be ready, the paparazzi will be waiting! Everyone’s invited – from action heroes and villains to comedy duos, and the animated movie stars too!
There’s something for everybody. So, grab the popcorn, glam up and get ready for the event of the year!
Who can enter?
Anyone can enter – on your own, with friends, family, work colleagues, even pets! You can travel by foot, or on a vehicle, and for those in big groups, why not decorate a trailer! The more creative you can be with costumes, float decorations and Hollywood props, the better!
How do I enter?
Simply fill in your details on our application form and return to us by the deadline of 14th May – it’s as easy as that! The parade will leave at 12.30pm. It is free to enter the procession.
