Play equipment consultation: Results revealed

Diss Town Council has been allocated extra funds for additional play equipment on Diss park. Feedback from the last consultation told us that equipment is needed to better suit 4 to 8-year-olds and children with additional needs. This year we sourced three different designs and during August we asked residents to choose between the different options.

We received over 200 votes and comments in response. During a Full Council meeting on Wednesday 15th September, councillors resolved to go with the public’s favourite choice, Option B.

Designed by play equipment specialists, Proludic, it will be installed early spring 2022 and will include the addition of a fully wheelchair accessible “swinger”, which supports the development of balance and physical coordination.

The council would like to thank all of those who took the time to vote and send in their comments.
