Are you a happy snapper? Do you live life through a lens? Is your phone packed with pics? If this sounds like you and you’ve taken a great local photo that you’d be happy to share with us we’d love to see it.
Your town, your perspective
We’re always looking for photographs we can use to promote our beautiful town and surrounding countryside. And who better to capture the true heart of Diss than you, the people who live and work here? This is your town and we’d love to see how it’s viewed through your eyes.
Our community is a diverse and colourful one and photographs taken by people across that community are a great way of capturing this variety and richness.
There’s a budding network of talented photographers out there (we know we’ve seen some of your fabulous shots and are using one, taken by local photographer Tina Ewart, for this article!). So, if you have a photo you’d be happy for us to share with our followers (either in our magazine, on our website or through social media) please send it our way.
Get featured in the next issue of 'Diss Matters'
The theme for the photo gallery in our forthcoming Autumn issue of our town magazine, Diss Matters, is ‘Out and About’. If you’ve got a photograph that fits this brief (or are motivated to take one) we’d love to include it in our magazine. How you interpret the brief is up to you – the more creative the better.
Please email your file (the higher resolution the better) to: firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
The title of the photo (if you have one)
What you like about the photo and why you took it
Anything else you’d like to mention
Deadline: Friday 28th August.

You will retain ownership of the photo and its copyright. By sending us your photograph you grant us a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish and use the image. We will endeavour to publish your name alongside the photograph wherever possible.
