Norfolk County Council’s Roadshow Event @ The Corn Hall
Apr 24 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Norfolk County Council’s Roadshow

Local residents are invited to Norfolk County Council’s second roadshow event in Diss, South Norfolk, where they will be able to hear about the council’s suggestions for the future, ask questions and offer their ideas and aspirations for the county.

Residents will have a chance to meet the Leader of the County Council, Cliff Jordan and other senior members. Joining the Council team at the roadshow is Nick Conrad, BBC Radio Norfolk Presenter, who will act as chairman and take questions from the audience.

Leader, Cliff Jordan said, “The County Council plays a key role in caring for the people of Norfolk – whether it is supporting the vulnerable, maintaining our roads or campaigning for jobs. That will not change – but the way we do this will have to change given our future financial pressures.

“We have some challenges in Norfolk and I want to have an open discussion and ask our residents what matters to them most, whether it be caring for the most vulnerable, building better roads or developing housing solutions. I do want to hear from residents and to do that properly we need to hear first-hand from the people of Norfolk.”

The roadshow event will run from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, 24th April 2018, at The Corn Hall,
10 St Nicholas Street, Diss, IP22 4LB.

To register for ticket to the event, click here.

The East Anglian Game & Country Fair is an annual two day, family event taking place on April 28th & 29th 2018 at the Euston Estate near Thetford, just off the A11.

Home to the Duke and Duchess of Grafton, Euston Hall is steeped in history and provides a beautiful backdrop to the already established events on the Estate. For more information on the venue please visit www.eustonhall.co.uk

Euston Estate provides a central location for The East Anglian Game & Country Fair, only 30 minutes from Norwich on the newly dualled A11 near Elveden with excellent access to the A14, Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Ipswich and Newmarket.

The East Anglian Game & Country Fair was ideally suited to this beautiful new venue and our first show here in April 2017 attracted record crowds. It also gave us the opportunity to further evolve and develop the show, with the space and freedom to invite new attractions and events, whilst ensuring that the popular events that we have always enjoyed remain.
