This Friday is ‘Time to paint’ at Redgrave & Lopham Fen!

Come to the Centre, from 10am to 2pm, and join like-minded people for some dedicated creative time away from all the chores and other distractions. Bring your own materials and something to do, plus a packed lunch.

£5 donation to SWT includes tea/coffee and cake. All abilities welcome.

Organised by the Diss Arts Society, the Corn Hall is very pleased to present work by two of our local schools, Diss High & Hartismere High schools.

Both schools with exhibit together to curate a lively show that gives the students the opportunity to exhibit their work in a public gallery. It promises to be colourful and experimental. Come and see what they produce!

BLOWZABELLA

Venue: Corn Hall- 24th Feb 2018, 8pm (Doors open 7:30) £15 per ticket.

BLOWZABELLA celebrate 40 years of their inimitable, drone-based wall of sound with a new album and a visit to The Corn Hall (one of their favourite venues). Andy Cutting – diatonic button accordion; Jo Freya – vocals, saxophone, clarinet; Paul James – vocals, bagpipes, saxophones; Gregory Jolivet – hurdy-gurdy; David Shepherd – violin; Barn Stradling – bass guitar; Jon Swayne – bagpipes, saxophone. They compose dance music influenced by English and European folk traditions. Many of their tunes are “standards” in the British/European folk repertoire.

Book 4 or more full tickets and get £2 discount per ticket.  This will be a standing / dancing event with a few tables and chairs. Visit the Corn Hall website for more details.

Due to fire safety requirements we have a limit on how many wheelchair spaces we can accommodate so these need to be reserved in advance to avoid disappointment.
